craft with the girls.....

I must be getting out of my "funk" cause i actually did some crafts today with the girls!  It was a little frustrating at first but eventually got it all figured out. I had 2 sheets of paper with a drawing of a tree taped to the sliding glass door. The girls were to use q-tips to paint budds on the tree for Spring! I got the idea from a blog that i have been following. Called No Time for Flash Cards. Such great ideas and very simple projects.  All started well untill Nadia began to paint on Gia's paper. So i moved Gia's paper over to the wall away from the sliding door! 

Dealt with a lot of screaming and yelling form the two of them. Then Nadia had some issues with getting the q-tip onto her paper, she mostly painted on the floor. So i moved her sheet and taped it to the floor.  Mind you im trying to take pictures of this Fun and exciting moment..lol ok now that we have that figured out the rest went smoothly. As smooth as it could get.

 

  

They moved on to using their fingers. what i was trying to avoid, hence the q-tips!! guess they caught on.lol

 

  

  

  

when they had enough of the painting we moved on to drawing on the sliding doors. I have special markers for windows. They love it!

 So happy to be getting out of this "funk" Now that spring is coming ill probably be in better moods! Im finding myself searching for more and more crafts for us to do. great sign =D  which means more and more pictures =P

Went to a playdate where they had had green eggs and ham to celebrate Dr.Seuss bday! was a lot of fun
